“It is already a haptic and visual pleasure to even pick up this little book.”

Alexander Peer’s texts examine critically the state of the world. In five chapters, cultural history is moored to the human body: head, heart, belly, genitals and hands.

The poems and Moussa Kone’s ink drawings complement each other; the fragmented body becomes a projection surface for depicting the society.

“Moussa Kone’s magnificent ink drawings, which accompany the poems thematically, make the slim volume an ideal companion for days when it is a pleasure to fail cheerfully at life.”

Albert Eibl (Falter 12/2018, p.30)

Limbus Lyrik is a book series produced by Limbus and dedicated to contemporary poetry. The high-quality books present both well-known and completely new lyrical positions. The series celebrates the comeback of poetry, which has been scarce on the book market in recent years.

Often, authors collaborate with artists to realize their book concepts. The books are small and sold for a low prize, but produced in a high quality.

“The best poetry publisher in the world of the week.” (Kirstin Breitenfellner, Falter, 2019)
